Keep the power in the relationship. Once a man gives up his power, the relationship is bound to fail. Evolutionarily, there is a reason why we are stronger, faster and smarter. We are meant to hunt, protect and think.
If you give up any of these, then you have lost the power in the relationship. Of all the times I've given someone men advice, one thing that I often see is a man that gives up all his power way to quickly.
It is perfectly okay to give up some power, but you need to make sure that you will still have the upper hand. If she ever asks you to do something, make sure that she does something for you. Basically, if shes going to force you to goto the mall with her, then make sure she knows shes going to pay for dinner first.
Keep her guessing and never be predictable. If you are going to truely compliment her, then make sure its either a back handed compliment or the fact that these compliments dont occur too often.
Learn to say no!
If she tells you to not do something. Make sure you do it once before you stop. This will make her realize that the reason you stopped was because you wanted to and not because she asked you to.
Stand by your decisions. If you planned on getting dinner that night, then make sure you get dinner before you do anything else. Be stubborn, but dont do it to a point where it upsets her.
Erwin Washington - Mr. Washington showed up drunk three times over the legal limit, not to drive a car, but pilot a flight headed to Chicago with 150 people strapped inside. We here at MensTruth understand that it must be stressful with terrorists strapping bombs to their private areas and you being forced to watch Sandra Bullock's horrible acting in the Proposal, but this is not a reason to put 150 peoples lives at risk so that you don't have to remember the flight.
