There are many reasons that someone might end up "socially challenged". One could be because of the childhood they had, in which there parents did not let them go out to the playground and play with other kids. Another reason might be the lack of confidence. Although there are plenty of reasons why someone could be socially awkward around others, they all say the same thing when you are talking to a set: "Is this guy bothering you ladies?".

This is the worst thing any friend of yours could say to you. This shows clearly that he doesn't think much of you as a friend, and tells the women you are speaking with that you are just a big a loser as your friend for even being his buddy. If this situation has occurred to you, then you know how weird it can get. Take your friend a side and have a talk with him. Do not be condescending like you are some great dating guru. Be honest and let him know that he is one of your good friends and that he made it really weird for him and the women you were talking to back there.


Usually, in the beginning, there is a form of denial..."dude, no way man, they thought it was funny"...then he will most like go into anger...."well, you should have introduced me to them or we would have never gotten into this predicament....then finally and hopefully, there is acceptance and the willingness to learn...."teach me everything!".
